I obviously can't speak for everyone, but many of us in AR have been in the business for decades, and you will RARELY find anyone who thinks paying for leads is a good idea. I welcome you with the heartiest of welcomes, but as to Easy Agent Pro - RUN, FORREST, RUN

Good morning Janice.  Having been there done that never and I repeat never pay for leads.  God get them on your own, there are so many ways to find them and save you a lot of money and dead ends.

Hi Janice Martin your phone is going to ring off the wall with sales people promising you leads. I agree with the responses you have here.  Wish I would have found this group before I lost so much $$.  

As Mimi Foster said, " DON'T EVER PAY FOR LEADS" they are a scam!!!

Generate your own through who you know and who you'll meet. Ignore Sam.

I am not familiar with this but can tell you I do not buy any leads and build business organically and by asking for business.

If you are new, and you have a vision of staying in real estate for the long game, then don't buy a site from a third party vendor.  Hire someone Tammy Emineth to build a word press site for you then own it.  Hands down that is the best way to go. Do not buy leads.  Grow organic and get your own leads.

Do yourself a favor and avoid buying leads. Invest in your own website (a good one!), use PPC toi get a jump on the market and don't look back.

And please for all the stars in the sky STAY OFF ZILLOW! ;)

Beware of the many parasites of the real estate industry looking to steal your last dime in an effort to sell you a lead or other trinket that may or may not be worth anything. 

Most find them a waste of valuable time and money.

Hey, Janice!  Welcome to real estate and ActiveRain!  My strong recommendation is that you learn the art of prospecting.  There are many sites that promise to sell you leads, and virtually all of them are totally bogus.

Get a mentor.  Learn to find buyers at Open Houses, FSBO's, Expired listings, in line at the super market, at your kids' school,  your neighborhood list serve!  

Save your money.   NEVER buy leads.  Not from Zillow, not from Trulia, not from Angie's List, not from Realtor dot com, not from anybody.

Janice Martin I've never heard of one of these services sustaining a career so I would recommend you get as involved as you can in your community and the leads will come to you.

It's sad that there's so much misinformation out there, especially for new agents.  If given the right education and direction these issues wouldn't be an issue.  It doesn't have to be this way.  Contact me if you're interested in an online class that teaches you exactly what to do (and not do).

Janice, I don't know much about that company.  It might be the best thing since sliced bread . . . probably not.  You are one of the lucky new agents as you found a source of experienced agents who are willing to share their knowledge with you.   We have all made expensive mistakes and chances are someone on ActiveRain has tried the product you are thinking about using.  This is the place to come to learn, ask questions and make friends with other agents. Welcome and I wish you nothing but success.  I have never used Easy Agent Pro, but at FlyerCo.com, a FREE landing page is included with every flyer you create. This landing page has a simple contact form that collects and stores the lead information for you.

A great way to capture leads is to create your flyer, and then share the link to the site on social media sites, through email campaigns, etc.

I hope this helps you on your way to becoming a successful Real Estate agent!

Any one that promises something easy in this business is most likely not worth it as they are lying.

Hi Janice - Don't buy leads. Pay close attention to what's going on here at AR, take the blogging classes on ActiveRain University, and learn how to make the internet generate your leads for you.

Don't rush to get involved with any lead selling companies because most are worthless. Also, take your time and start out with a good website that you own and can expand and upgrade as needed. Wordpress is usually a good place to start.

Welcome to the rain. Let's be clear EVERYONE pays for leads! Did  I mention EVERYONE! A referral fee IS paying for a lead. Advertising budget divided by number of closings equal what agents are REALLY paying.

So you also will need to pay to play.

EasyAgentPro IS a resource for allowing you to generate your own leads, like many here on AR do, Total cost of website and maintenance divided by number of leads equals what they are paying for leads.

EasyAgentPro supports the ever forceful sharing economy and positions you well for what the future brings. This is NOT a 1980s product. EasyAgentPro has integration to HUBSPOT which is a major indicator they do know what they are doing. There is one feature on EasyAgentPro that you MUST have, most likely will add $100 a month to the fee, but don't rob yourself by saving too much money. This feature is the heartbeat of inbound marketing that they should be able to explain.

EasyAtentPro has bells and whistles that WILL be add on fees. Make sure you know what you want your website to do, a really good URL, a traffic driver, then go have some fun.

My suggestion, get together with a geeker and define what you want YOUR website to do, Create a test and validation plan for each feature. Then sign up for a limited membership in EasyAgentPro for the purpose of validation. You will be amazed how many agents are paying for products that simply do not work, some actually are to dangerous to use.

I think the fees are steep. If you want an exit I think you lost the website.
