In our experiene of late...the  yonger and less experiene they have...the less respectful they are to agents who have forgotten more than they know.

Nope can't say that I do. I think that some agents think of others as an adversary. Like there is not enough real estate to go around.

Agents are often very unprofessional and cruel to each other, both in the rain and in the community in general.

Some agents confuse doing their best on behalf of a client with using aggressive and even contentious behavior when dealing with other agents. It's possible to do one's best for a client without being disrespectful or argumentative. Sometimes unprofessional behavior may even be encouraged by a broker manager, under the pretense of being competitive.

I think the majority do. And then there are some who treat other agents in a way I cannot imagine them treating their clients, or they wouldn't have any. Even though the relationships are different there is no reason to not be professional and respectful

I KNOW that this is a gross generalization, but in my 30 years of experience, many of the agents that are the most successful are typically not as kind, considerate or respectful of other agents, unless there is something in it for them.

There is a really good parenting course that teaches this:  If a child is angry, s/he is not just angry in one place, like school.  S/he is angry also at home, on the playground, at other people's houses and everywhere (although there is best behaviour to cover it a bit).  It's true, and it isn't just for anger.  If we are needy in one place, we are still needy in the rest of our day.

Just so, if someone is disrespectful with some people, you will find that sooner or later, that person will also be disrespectful even with clients, and with you.

***Useful information if you are dating someone who was disrespectful to the person they dated before you.  You may feel flattered now, but sooner or later it will be a different tune.***

Sadly, no.   Some believe they are the end all/be all in the business and bully cooperating agents and talk down to them.  I've never understood this behavior.

You have identified three moving targets each with undefined personalities and needs all which may exist in some degree of stress or life drama.

Lacking any specificity in the question, I can confidently say, "Yes."

Be aware, when talking about agents treating other agents, one introduces huge egos, archaic expectations, that often require a very agile, mailable individual on the other side to make everything appear right. Then BOTH claim to be THE professional.

As they do their client??? How would anyone know what the relationship is between the agent and their client. There does exist a fiduciary duty that is met and required. Speculation can be problematic.
