LOL - I have trouble getting agents to lock one door!
Panama City, FL
Yes, especially when you have to lock the front door using a key. It seems like it's above everyone's pay grade. I am surrounded by idiots in my area.

I have problems with the remembering to lock the door! So many of our homes in the area have never been locked
Hi Peter - The one that causes the most problems is them locking the door to the garage, which is how most of our sellers enter their own home - many don't carry a house key, so we warn them to keep one in the garage.
Have had plenty of problems with showing agents, we go back and check after they leave.
I have issue with keys that do not open doors or most of the times: agents who do not answer their phones or emails.
Happens all the time, can not understand some agents but the sellers get mad at us.
There have been times the door has been left unlocked, but not often, thankfully.
We have agents who lock the house with the key inside! Never a dull moment!
yes it is a problem here too
Most lock the doors, our problem is the agents who pocket the key without replacing it in the lockbox and then we have to track who had last access to the property and get the key returned.
It can happen anywhere.
Good morning Peter. I hear this topic talked about all the time, I just don't understand why locking a home up is such a big deal.
Most of the time agents that show my listings lock the doors.
We don't have this problem and don't have triple action locks in our home.
Agents here are pretty good about locking locks.
Not very often
Fortunately the agents do lock doors, though I have to admit that some locks are 'not my friends' on older homes! First there's the security door, then there's the door lock, and then the deadbolt lock. All are not opened with the same key, though none are labeled. Then there's the charming 'key in lock but it won't turn' scenario. Fortunately none have broken off for me at this point - HA! - Peter Mohylsky!!
No problem here with the Supra locks.
we rarely have that problem....
It can be Kinda tough to give the visiting property the same attention as ones home
Rarely we have an issue with it, but it's not common
Must be newer realtors who have trouble with different locks.
The ones I have trouble is keyless type. Each manufacturer is different.
