Unless you are creating a nationwide, all MLS, All Counties, All Access APP, I don't see how I'd be lured away or our board would lower prices. They provide access to the properties and accurate info vs. the access Zillow provides the unsuspecting public. All our MLS services are already automated too. This is my answer to your vague description; why don't you blog all the details so we can see what you really plan to offer; right now it's just pie in the sky and hard to take seriously.

It's an interesting thought.

I pay monthly, $38. The most important feature available to me specific to the MLS service is the ability to input listings. I can't see them letting third party applications access to that feature so I don't see where another service provider, free or not, would ever either replace my need to pay for this or impact their charges.

Nothing is FREE but somethings are priceless.

We get use of the MLS and ironically the $365 annual fee is due on May15 for our Florida membership.

Whatever you plan to offer, it would have to be reliable and accurate, which means you would need access to the proprietary data gathered and supplied by local and regional MLS organizations. Forgive me, but I am skeptical..

People are specific on mlslistings only go to that site. Zillow,Trulia RF are all worthless.

MLS fees?  We get access to the MLS.  If you could make that free, all the power to you!  Fees in the $380/yr range.

We have contract software with integration, RPR and the ability to create mailing lables. Good luck. I think you've got a lot to take on.  

They are $480 and I get an email service and HomeSnap along with it.

$600 and I get the MLS.

This would never fly with our MLS committee and BOD. We pay a flat rate for access to the MLS and ancillary services that are all hand picked by them and on a contract basis. So it is pointless to ask this question as we have no control over that...it is the job of the decision makers.

Agree with Thomas J. Nelson, Realtor that you need to post full details of what you plan to offer...

MLS only fees are a little over $300.  I belong to two different ones and this is the cost of MLS access.

the fee is $348/year..... we get to market our listings.... and that's worth a bundle to me....

$436, for that I get access to MLS.

you lost me with the part about 'free'. nothing is free and nobody can afford to work for free.

MLS is part of the annual board fee.  The MLS features are improved on a regular basis.  Our board fee will not decrease because you provide your services for free.
