I've had posts not go out as scheduled and when I checked, MY wireless Internet connection had gone down. As soon as I made sure the Internet connection was good, I published it manually.
It was NOT the scheduling that didn't work, it was MY Verizon JetPack.

I've seen others comment about that problem occasionally. If it happens regularly contact the staff for a fix.
I also have experienced delays or not posting at all when using the scheduling feature. Seems others have had issues as well.
Dave Parker - interesting. I have a few scheduled - so need to make sure they are published.
I have had that happen. When you schedule, and then decide to make a change it messes it up. You have to change the post to a draft, and unschedule it, make the changes and then go back to rescheduling it. Otherwise, it does not publish, and you have to do it manually. A

I think it had to do with some updates that may have been done on Active Rain. I bet if you try to schedule a blog tomorrow it will go as planned.
I have had the same experience as Debbie Reynolds . If you make any changes, revert the post to draft and reschedule it.
We never schedule blog posting due to so many previous complaints.

I had the same problem today and have no idea why it didn't post. I hadn't tried this in quite some time and I guess I won't try again for a while.
There seem to be some technical difficulties going on 'behind the curtain.' I agree that you should be able to count on it, but there are some unusual glitches going on.

If you made any change at all to the post after you hit the publish button then the scheduler kicks it out. For instance sometimes I get ahead of myself and don't select a topic and try to publish. It gives me an error button to let me know something is wrong. I can fix the problem and then proceed to schedule and it may look like it is scheduled but it will not publish at the selected time. It has to be manual.

Sometimes these things do not work as well as we would like them to.
I think there were issues that day, but think this has been fixed.

I've never been able to figure out the schedule option - it's never worked properly for me, and I'm reading the comments here to see if anyone has a solution, but, so far, none.
You have to watch for these problems. The scheduling feature is working again this morning.
I have had this happen on occasion as well but typically they publish as scheduled. Once scheduled for posting -- I find that I shouldn't revise it until after it has published as that seems to create an issue(for me).
Tried scheduling for the first time this week and several times it wouldn't allow the post to be scheduled, so I gave up on it.

Do not know. The more serious problems is after saving your blog with several photos some mysteriously disappeared.....
