Using all caps is offensive unless it is a word here or there for affect. I do cap the first letter of important words in my blog title.

Fred,
We use caps for emphasis, not to yell, and so much complication these days on this and that. Makes us miss acting like real humans. A

I remember using all caps on my first message to someone and they wanted to know why I was yelling. I don't do that anymore, unless I want to yell at someone!

I always thoughts that all caps in a sentence meant someone was yelling.
Remember the good old days when we use to just talk?

I tend to use proper case. Sentences are only capitalized at the begining, unless there is a proper reason to capitalize another word such as I, Realtor, James Bond, etc.
Blog headers: The convention is to capitalize every major word, but not neccessarily connector words like to, on, or, and.
Yes, CAPITALIZING EVERYTHING IS SCREAMING AND SUPER ANNOYING!!!

It is only considered yelling if every letter in the word is capitalized.

Yes it is.
For titles it is common to capitalize the first letter of each word.

I don't necessarily capitalize every word in a sentence unless I think I want to get a point across; more often I will "bold" it and/or italicize it.
However, I will often capitalize every word in a header and if not, I will incrase the size of the font.

All caps is definitely considered yelling, and a cap at the beginning of every word in a sentence is distracting.
I usually stick to the one capital at the beginning of a sentence, unless I want to highlight a specific word, then I might use caps.

OK, guilty ! I use capitalization to add emphasis, to draw attention and for those who have difficulty reading small type. I also do it to make sure the reader knows who I am refering to as in YOU and ME.
I know I probably over use capitalization but it is just my style so I hope YOU can accept ME for who I am. THANK YOU !

Yes. I have been told many times all CAPS is considered yellng. I do notice all caps in the MLS. So many different rules! Depends on situation. Usually I use caps for the first letter of each word on blog title.

when typing comments and on facebook or twitter I pretty much let puncuation fly out the window. But when I write a note or type an email (unless it's just to a friend or my daughter) I try to remember my English lessons from school. :)

YES, IT'S YELLING! And no reason to capitalize every word unless it's in the title. Though, most annoying is the new craze of not capitalizing any words at all,

"Don’t write in ALL CAPS. This is the digital equivalent of shouting. Besides ALL CAPS are harder to read (as anyone in advertising will tell you.)" Capitalizing each worh is for titles usually. Capitalizing first word in every sentence is normal.

I don't do 'yelling', i.e., all caps of a word! In Facebook I capitalize nothing except someone's first name (first letter) - everything is lower case. I do capitalize first letters of words in titles, and do capitalize a first letter of a word for emphasis (Realtor, Q & A, Blog, etc.) Fred Griffin. I think today, people make up alot of their own personal rules!

I capitalize the first letter of the first word in a sentence. I often see people criticizing others for capitalizing every letter of every word and calling it "yelling", I call it annoying. Seriously, there are just too many online rules. My website provider is now telling us that we should be texting all our leads when we receive them - that is the "new" marketing technique. ::sigh::

Yes, no and yes. I don't know why people type whole sentences all in caps...it is equivalent to shouting and trying to read it hurts my eyes. I do sometimes type one word in a sentence in all caps for emphasis but cannot tolerate people who overuse caps.

I hate all caps. It's as if you're screaming. But, sometimes, I will capitalize one word for emphasis. I do this selectivey.
