I'd go to DC for vacation.  National Archives, Smithsonian, etc.  There isn't enough money (or booze) in the world to make me want to go to the NAR conference.

No but I have a Washington D.C. wish listing in the making. I haven't been to D.C. in over 10 years. I love the Smithsonian, the National Gallery, the Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial... many other sites. Roy Kelley what are your favorite gardens there?

Check out Cafe du Parc on the ground level of the Intercontinental Hotel, very close to the White House..great French food!

The National Gallery is always a favorite as well.

I can't make it to D.C. but plan to attend the NAR convention in Orlando later this year.

Not attending NAR, but been to DC twice have ambitions of returning to DC eventually, just for taking pictures.

I will be there for the CRS meetings which overlap. Won't have much free time and only there 3 days. The Spy Museum is great fun!

No I will be very busy in May with personal matters.

I go every year and it is a more important meeting than the annual. Typically more decisions of omportance are made at this meeting. Second Hill Day is very important that we show up as a block and lobby for property rights. For those cynical folks commneting ask your self how successful would you be without Fannie or Freddie. Or when the Republican House decided to raid Fannie and Freddie of their G Fees to help pay for a transportation bill. But don't worry, those of us who do care about these things will be there. FYI, I will go to The Portrait Gallery this year, and the remodeling of the National Gallery should be done. All this is free.
