What does a blizzard have to do with weather?  I thought it was a delicious frozen treat from Dairy Queen.

If it were a meeting worth having, I certainly would.  Like Chris Ann Cleland if it's a lot of snow, I'm on the roads, but with wind and white-out conditions, nope!

If it was truly a blizzard with high winds, no.  If it's just a lot of snow...absolutely.

well, that happens to us all the time... it really depends on the magnitude of the blizzard and if the roads are passable... We are good to go usually unless the conditions warrant not going..safety first...

Why are people still having face to face meetings in this day and age?  There is no meeting that is worth risking your life and that of others with dangerous conditions. 

If there is a blizard in WIlmington NC ... the entire city shuts down!  I have an AWD Subaru Forester... Guess what?  I'm getting to the meeting!

Depending on the milage and if I know the area I am heading...Some areas close the roads very quickly

There isn't any meeting on Earth worth risking my safety or that of others.  I would call and report my intended absence.  

 I happen to live 'right down the street' from you, and I wouldn't have gone today. DIA is shut down, I-25 is shut down, I-70 East is shut down. Unless it was something that absolutely, positively couldn't be rescheduled, I see what it's like outside, and the snow is blowing sideways :) I cancelled two appointments, but was surprised at the agents who were out showing!

Honestly, I don't know how you guys do all you do in snow, and I applaud you.  Of course, you might die trying to do what I do in 120+ heat.

That depends upon the actual road conditions and my prospects for a safe return. There is no replacing good common sense. Something that it seems that many these days are lacking.

It would depend on all of the circumstances (how much accumulation expected, etc...) but safety first so I would err on the side of caution.

I'd check to see why it isn't canceled! If others are saying they can make it, then I'd probably try as well....which would probably be a mistake!

My life is precious.

I have a Subaru. They go anywhere in the snow. There wouldn't be an excuse to miss the meeting in spite of the weather. 

That is like asking me "if there was a hurricane would you go to the meeting?" NO NO NO safety first!

You have to use your head and own judgement and be willing to step up and say it is too dangerous to drive. 

Will Hamm Just read all the answers so far. So funny reading the wishy-washy answers from sun states that never have snow. (Almost used the word, whooshes, but didn't). Yes, safety first, but never let a little snow stop me if I wanted to be there.  You will love this: in college a group of us drove Route 20 to Bufflalo because I-90 was closed due to snow.  We wanted to see Niagara Falls covered with ice!  The crazy 20- somethings!

Dpends on the assessment of the weather and reward factor the meeting is capable of producing. Bigger the potential reward, the bigger the risk I am willing to take!

It depends on the type and strength of the blizzard. I would not risk my life or anyone else's for a business meeting. You can always Skype, if you need to "be" there.

It depends.  I am not going to risk my life and livelihood making bad decisions. I don't deal with snow here in San Jose CA. I have been out in torrential rain and wind.  Not fun.

No.  Of course, the only Blizzard out here is Blizzard Entertainment, which would mean something got released for StarCraft 2 or World of Warcraft and in that case... yeah the day would be a vacation day with no phones.

It all depends on the purpose and importance of the meeting. Most things can be rescheduled. Life emergency? I'm there.
