One of my MLS providers puts a huge brand on the bottom right corner of every photo. You pay a professional photographer serious $$$ to get perfect shots, create a mood... then the MLS brand ruins the image.

No, if you would like to borrow one of my pics David, just ask and I will be happy to share.
The world is a much better place when we are not stingy over such things.

My MLS won't let us, they do their own branding. For all other sites, I do significant watermarking including my logo and text saying to call me.

David, I am branding my photos. It takes time but it is well worth it.

I actually have been working on some reports this AM with logo watermark on my photos. I am going to your post and see what you can further enlighten me with.

yes I do and I even do it in the MLS photos. It does not have my firm name, or a phone number and you can't find it unless you blow the photo up. But it certainly makes it hard for those agents who steal them to say "that's not your photo" when I can blow it up and show them my tiny watermark

I have not yet begun watermarking my photos. Thank you for bringing the SEO benefit to my attention. I wasn't aware of that. I will pay a visit to your blog.
