TOO MUCH ! OK, as a Lender I would prefer everyone did a mortgage and did it with me. I have noticed more of my Realtors saying they have seen an uptick in "cash buyer" transactions.
We've discussed it and decided more folks with funds have sold out of the stock market with this year's losses and are investing those funds in real estate instead. Hopefully, they will see a better ROI with the real estate.

Approximately 60% of buyers are paying cash driven by 401K withdrawals and foreign buyers.
A mortgage broker with whom I chatted recently was encouraged at the values and volume of sales in Pinellas County. Set up shop here. Then the reality of 60% cash sales compelled frantic restructuring.
