Yes I remember that. Japan is in my heart I've been so lucky to be able to taste that amazing culture. People there is very disciplined, polite and hard working . They are trying their best to recovery from that catastrophic earthquake. My ptayer goes to those family affected.

I actually worked on the GE reactor Containment design and testing. Fukusima employed first generation reactor containment Mark I. Mine was Mark III.
Today GE Nuclear Energy Division is a shopping center named "The Plant".
The reactor business died and I am still around.

Yes, I was surprised to see an ad in our paper today from the Japanese thanking Americans for the donations and support after this disaster. The ad also invited Americans to come visit and see the rebuilding that was done.
