No regrets. My first broker I stayed with for 3 years. She was a hand holder, 30 years in and very insightful: we are still friends. I moved in year 3 to be part of a big name & high-tech business model and got my broker's license because unlike the previous broker I had virtually no broker support with the new company. I opened my own company in my fifth year, and we're celebrating our 10-year anniversary.

I've only worked for one company, but in three separate offices.  The office I started in closed down and consolidated with another.  Eventually, the management in the second office was not working for me, so I transferred.  Still love the company and am so glad I chose wisely in the beginning.  Have spent a lot of money branding myself to this company, since our state laws require our ads to include our brokerage.

No Regrets. All by choice, happy to have been and to have left.

On my 5 which is me and I have no regrets.

I have worked with five brokerages, this last one being for almost 17 years. All the previous moves were made for advancement and management opportunities.

I am happy with Coldwell Banker the only place i have worked.

It took me a while to find where I'm at and it's a good fit for me irregardless of franchise fees and brokerage split to be at a name brand.

I started with the last big corporate real estate company in Canada, Royal Lepage.  After 7 years I left for a smaller brokerage, but it was so poorly ran that I eventually just opened my own brokerage.

I was a RE/MAX for about 3 years in Boston, and them with them again here in Carlsbad for about 5 years, then to my current brokerage. The financial situation is far better!

I've been with Re/Max since I started 9 years ago. My broker sold the business in December 2015 so we have a new name but are still Re/Max.  Before I became a Realtor I was a Title Insurance Agent for 3-4 years with one company. I have no plans in changing as I am happy where I am, and my clients know how to find me!

My first company was bought out by a bigger company and they let everyone go, my 2nd, I moved from Oregon back to Illinois. 3rd, I was there for 18 years and switched for a pay raise. 4th, I decided to work for a Mortgage Broker, since I loved that part of my job, and 5th, I opened my own company to bring some respect to my industry. No regrets at all and I would do it again in a heartbeat. My future plans are to get my State license so I can do mortgages in Tennessee. We plan to move there in the next couple of years, but my job is too much fun, so I won't retire, and I hope to get my wife involved, if she doesn't open up a bakery.

 I have only worked for one company – mine. It is interesting to see how the company and business has evolved over the last 15 years.

With KW since then - barring a few years with Re/Max inbetween.

And no regrets for any of the changes.

Evers is my 4th brokerage in 34 years.  My moves were all triggered by the company changing hands.

I worked for three in FLorida and three in Virginia and plan to stay with Long and Foster.

I was with my fiest broker 4 years..he closed been with my current Broker for 21 years never considered moving!

Just one before my current...changed because the first was a huge disappointment (and before you ask (LOL) they were another big franchise)

First years of RE I worked as an assistant for a top producer where I learned a lot. Then I joined different companies, all ok - Now,  I'm happy where I am. I'm busy and staying motivated, focus, passionated and incredible blessed to be in this business! gotta love RE!

I have a rough start in the business. I went to four companies in two years. Now I've been with the last company I went to for over six years. I don't have any plans to leave. Heck I might even buy the company when my broker finally retires. He's had the business for about 40 years. 

I started out with a local Prudential franchise. I stayed three and a half years and when they wouldn't let me do what I wanted to with my own website and newsletter I left. No regrets, and have steadily grown from just Larry and I to four more agents.

I worked for 3 different brokers, all within Metro Brokers.    First change, wanted to be the "little fish", second time the broker closed shop, 3rd time was because the broker was never around going through a divorce.    I have my own now.

I've worked for three brokerages.  Worked with countless service providers.  Left the brokerages for work outside of Real Estate (one brokerage I was doing assistance work as a second and third job in addition to my regular 8-5).

Service Providers: Some closed down, others went bankrupt, others had legal issues, started getting bad service, found someone better/cheaper/faster.

Regrets: Zero

In one place, placed the license with a local before I relocated, then moved it to a franchise. Stayed for a year and moved to another franchise with a better split and no franchise fee of the top. Great move!

5 before my husband, and co associate decided we wanted to become the Real Estate Company designed for our clients in mind- and opened our own. No regrets! We would do it again! Best decision we ever made and that is 8 years now and counting :-).

I worked under two big box umbrellas.  Was the QB and helped open another re business.  Opened my own doors in 2006 and never looked back.

Just 3 so far. 2 were mergers of sorts & that's how I ended up at RM. There were 'rumors' that our company would be sold to KMart & we would have to man offices inside the stores themselves. I couldn't see myself at a 'blue light special'. 

That was it - went to RM & here I've stayed. They could use some new wallpaper & paint though (just like all the sellers I work with).

Just 1 and it is good i would never change

This is my third company. I changed twice because the company was sold .

I owned a number of real estate companies during my career and worked as an associate broker for two companies after moving to another state.

Two. No regrets!

Good morning Fred. I started one real estate company and sold it 15 years later and own the mortgage company that I started and no regrets with either.

I worked for two other places right out of college, but have been running my company for the past 28 years.

I have only worked for 2. Coldwell Banker and Remax

I started with my friend. Joined her office without talking to other companies.  Changed one time. Although the drive to this office is more than I like, It's a great fit.
