Had a business coach when trying to run my office and care for my ailing mother at the same time.   Too much responsibility, stress and heartache all wrapped in one was getting the best of me and effecting my performance and my interpersonal relationships with clients.   He kept me grounded and acted as a sounding board to get me through the rough spots.   It was a valuable resource when I needed it and has benefited me since moving on beyond Mom's passing.   Don't be too proud or ashamed to ask for help when the need presents itself.   It can make a positive difference in your life.

Not now. I worked with a businesss coach for a year or so - it was a terrific experience!

I'm a coach so the answers have been interesting to read.  There's a variety of coaching styles out there, so finding someone who matches your needs is key.

For example, none of my clients would say they coach with me for motivation.  If they're not self-motivated, I won't work with them.  I bring value in other ways.

No. I recently listened to a webinar from a popular coaching company. It was fairly basic and what I expected to hear, but I could tell where coaching could be beneficial. But, again, pricing seems to be out of reach for many. As usual, no firm prices were mentioned, but my impression was the minimum an agent would have to spend is $5000.00, and seems like 6 months is a good time span to be coached.

From the time of my early career, I've always had to be self-motivating.  I bought dozens (make that hundreds) of books and tapes and attended seminars.    I don't know what I would have done without my "library" in those early days.  My broker training was a joke!  A personal coach would have been heavenly.  Now, I enjoy being the coach.
