Actually, not such a new concept. We covered at Harvard B School back in 1978 when I was there, maybe under a different term. As far as I'm concerned everything old is new again.

Everything old becomes new again with a change up of words. Like sanitation engineer for a garbage man. Spin those phrases.
This is blend work & life in the wheel concept I'm saying. Each spoke of the wheel is a life concept balancing all.

I think this is an idea that's been around for a while. Perhaps the terminology has changed but the philosophy has been there. And it's reflected in architecture, too - work/live lofts have been arond for quite some time

There was an interesting article in the Atlantic about how many of our jobs are being replaced by technology. The article really went into depth what our world would look like if we had more leisure time. What would we do and what would our economy be based on if not to work and make money? That's an interesting concept.

Perhaps a new word for a concept that had been around for a very long time, every author wants to act like they invented it, but most are just bringing it up to the surface again.

Is that anything like balance between work and life? If so, not totally possible all the time.

Still wrestling with business that is described as social conscience and/or heart centered. Work life integration sounds like a good phrase to wedge open a new idea, owned by the presenter.
