John,
While it may make for great TV it isn’t practical. We show clients pictures of the work my exceptional stager Kim Gaston does and then we let them be wowed by the results at their own home.

I think you are watching too much tv, which might be ok if you are not believing a lot of what you see on tv. I haven't run into any stagers at all, and haven't heard of any offering this service.

I haven't worked with a home stager who does this, but there may be some who do.
There are companies that offer virtual staging. Google virtual staging and a company that offers it for $40.00 per photo comes up. I don't know if they're good or if there are other fees involved.

None of the stagers I have worked with have. They all have online photos that showcase their work.

In the old days, seeing was believing. Today, how could you not have a live visual projection? Good question here

Too much HGTV...
My stager walks around with a portfolio of photos. It feels more personal, when I flip thru the pages.

It depends on the stager and the kind of services they provide and the prices they charge.

I have a feeling that most in my area DO NOT....but what an impressive presentation!!

No. More common here is photos where empty homes are staged with computer-imaged furnishings. It's a good tool to help buyers see "what could be".
