I am a huge fan of Gary Vaynerchuk. I listen to his podcasts, and watch his keynote speeches on YouTube, and I have read one book "Crush it" and now reading his second.

Brokers Who Dominate - Rod Santomassimo
This was geared toward CRE brokers, but the stories of the brokers (who are all alive, active NOW and can be connected with on SM) are pretty great for ideas and guidance for all. A recent favorite.

Good question but teh answer may take too long and involve a separate sheet of paper so I will be content with reading some of the other replys.

One I had to read for a managment program was called "The First 30 Days." It was about procedures you should do to understand the environment you got hired to manage, before making any changes. Lots of additional stuff in there about managment. A good read. I powered through most of it at jury duty one day.

Debbie, there are far to many for me to list. I recently purchased 6 new books. I've read all except one. I love to read and then implement things that fit for me and fit for my business.

To numerous to count. Basically any book having to do with starting and running a business I try to read if I know the authors have personally been there and done that.

Great topic! I look forward to everyone's contributions. I have about 6 pages of notebook filled with recommendations.
Ones that I read recently are: War of Art, Doing the Work and Turning Pro by Steven Pressfield (3 separate books that all relate).
