Red sky in the morning or evening as to what the weather will be in the near future. Four leaf clover's for luck!

Will, You mean besides The Buckeyes?? :)
I've heard rumor of another furry rodent forecasting the weather, but he's not local enough to my corner of Ohio for me to know much about.

Wiarton Willie is very well known. He hails from our beautiful province, Ontario.
Wikipedia lists quite a few groundhog competitors. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Groundhog_Day

Good morning Will. There are several weather prediction animals out there. What do they know? Humans can't even get it right!

There are several weather predicting animals out there. At least six that I saw.
As to other things: If the moon is red, blood will be spilled that night. Several crows are a bad omen (in general black birds). A circle of vultures, leads to a dead body of some kind (ok, they're carion feeders so it isn't much of an omen).
And the main one... if it looks, smells and sounds like a duck... it's a duck!

I don't believe in Phil though I will play along and get mad at him if he is wrong.

I believe in many things. I am grateful for whatever each new tomorrow brings ... regardless of ground hogs or what people who live in Ohio believe in.

I believe in daylight savings time. When that happens this year on March 13th. To me, that is when Spring happens for me. I usually don't think about things I can't control.

Haven't a clue, Will. Then again haven't been to Ohio since the mid-1970's.

Well I lived in Ohio for 3 years and I don't recall anything, furry or otherwise. Certainly not the meterologists!
