Depends on the time of year. In the summer it is grape salad, winter would be a hearty soup.

Something that I don't have to cook, but that is still tasty. Or wine, I like wine too!

If you are "in charge" of the pot luck dinner, forbid potato chips and potato salad. Because that is what everybody will bring!

So, I don't know how popular this is in other parts of the country, but I bring a pickle dip. Here in the southeast, it's a hit! I am always asked to bring it, Plus its simple to make!

My husband has potlucks at work frequently. I make killer pasta salads -- an antipasto-style or southwestern that are easy to dispense and keep. Hot foods - either chicken & yellow rice, or a green chili chicken mac and cheese. All to die. I love to cook. And they all work hard so they can do carbs. 3:)

Depends on what is being requested. Usually I'll pull a recipe and make something. If I'm busy, then I'll hit up trader joe's and pretend I made it!

I do not do pot lucks. I never eat anything at a pot luck. Mystery meals are not on my menu.

Depends on the theme for the dinner. Summer it would be deviled eggs and/or a relish tray. Winter if it is mexican, queso/guac or green chile.

Depends on time of year.
Now would be black eyed peas, chicken, sliced mushrooms, onion and tomato dish.
