Women are more indecisive.... or maybe it's men.   No, no.... women, for sure it's women.

Or is it women who are more decisive... ?   No... indecisive, yeah, that's it... indecisive...  unless....

Men are more decisive, overwhelmingly.

They say, "It's up to her. I can live anywhere."

I find that women are more decisive and usually have a better feel for what is right for the family.

One day  my wife says I am going out & if I find a home I like you better be ready.Two months later we moved in. Wifes do these things. That's all I know

Lately, it seems women. Guys are more ego-invested in making a steal. Mama just wants that house!

I found men to be more flexible about where they would live and women more specific about what they wanted and/or needed in a home.... except first time home buyers, who were usually quick to make a decision if the home met their basic needs and budget.  

It depends upon the specific individual.

I work with a lot of mature buyers and it seems the women make the decisions!  Men learn...as they mature!

I've found the women to be more decisive.  The majority of my Buyers have been women, very rarely with family.  The men seem to think there is something better still out there . . .

The person that sits in your front seat is typically the decisive one.

In my experience, it can go each way.

I find women are more decisive on the property and men on negotiating price and repairs.  

Men are more likely to be impulsive. I would rather work with the women.

I find that the women are quicker to commit but that could be that the men are thinking more long term and analyzing all the "what if's". At least my last couple of buyers have been that way and the women had to lead them to the decision.

I love the men's answers here.  I don't know why I have to read everyone else's answere prior to responding.  I was going to say the men!

It seems that in most situations men defer to the women regarding the family hearth. That is, if the men get their three + car garage, maybe a man cave and their own office, a nice basement for a work shop, sometimes a yard big enough to throw balls, maybe a boat dock and so on... then, it's up to the women.

I haven't seen any difference in the overall scheme of things.

I deal with a lot of single professional and both genders seem pretty equal. Everything changes in the couple arena. If the price is right the man is ready but has to defer to wifey for final answer.

I am not fond of judging based on sex.  There are a lot of single men out there who buy homes.  It depends on the person, not the gender!  We are all so much more than our gender.  In our relationship, we make decisions jointly.  Neither one of us pushes for an outcome, if we have to push, we walk away.  A

Men and Women compliment eachother sometimes in a joint decision...it also depends on the personality. Gender may not have much to do with that.

Real buyers buy.

Real sellers sell.

Regardless of gender.  

It seems like females are more detailed oriented, know what they want ( but can be flexible), and are quicker to decide.

Who is the bread winner? 

The house husbands kind is the worst. They are using house hunting as an excuse for not go out getting a job.....

It seems that men take the lead, but they defer to the women for the final choice.

In my experience it depends upon who manages the money for the household.  

Susan - This is a question where there is no good, or right answer, so I will refrain from answering.

It does depend. The wife may be the decisive one. She really wants the home but the husband looses it for her because he's such a great n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶o̶r̶ low baller. 

She puts her foot down. "I'm not losing another one" and he offers full ask. They live happily ever after and when I see them he confirms with me how much it's gone up. 

That's a no brainier.  Depends on who ask

Fifty fifty is the safest bet, but I lean toward the woman by a thread!

It usually depends - and I can find out who is more dominant partner in the search of home or in selling homes.

You just have to observe the subtle signs....

(And if it is a generic question - I'd say Women are more decisive on what they want or don't want!)

I don't think this is a gender determination

In a couple, the woman is usually the decisive one.  Men alone can be decisive, but more selective.

It's easier for the woman to make up here mind. The man gets too technical about EVERYTHING!

In m experience it is 50/50.  Some men know exactly what they want.  Some men want whatever their wife wants.  Some women know exactly what they want.  In my case it was important to me that my husband have what he wanted and he had some very good ideas, so it was fine with me.

In my experience I've found that women tend to be more decisive and more eager to pull the trigger once we've found the right home.  

We all have masculine and feminine qualities about us, it is just our decision which becomes dominant in the buying phase.

Depends on the couple and the person.  Typically, both have things they are decisive about in homes and it's a group decision sometimes involving kids.

No . . . people are indecisive and I don't think it runs the ranks of gender.  However, I do think couples are more indecisive then single folks.  If I have to listen to another couple spend 10 mins talking about where they are going to put the dining table and will it set 6 or 8 in that location . . . yeah.  

Every couple is different.

I think men are more like stop dragging me around whatever you want I want. Women look at the bigger picture and it makes them appear more indecisive I call it cautious. I was the opposite buying my home and got tired of looking, pulled the trigger and hubby was like if you want it I want it.

I find that men are more decisive than women 99% of the time

Smart women let the guys think it was their decision! But sometimes smart guys let the woment think the same. Lots of psychology when making big decisions!

It depends on the individual.
