I aree with the others--do not buy leads. Better to learn to generate your own. I'm one of the few loan jockeys that does not solicit (annoy) realtors for leads. I manage to generate virtually all of my business by people finding me online--then reseaching who I am and then contacting me first. Very often, I then refer them out to agents that I trust for the home search.

Invest in yourself--not a lead generating company. Learn how online marketing can benefit you--quite inexpensively. You can make yourself as visible as AT&T if you work at it hard enough, and on a shoestring budgt.

Remember this though: Don't view yourself as a salesperson, a real estate agent or anything other than a problem solver. People out there have problems that need to be solved (e.g. finding the perfect home for them and their family). Make yourself visible so that they can find you and see your message as someone who can make the probem vanish and you'll have more clients than you can hande--which can create a problem for you.

Can't help you with that one though...

I am hesitant to get into any lead buying programs. The best leads are the ones you generate.

I do have Zillow, Trulia and Realtor.com accounts for leads - though not as much, now.

did you google them first and look for reviews?  a quick search lead me to some "it's a scam" reviews about them.

Be careful about that free $100. It could be like what candy is to a kid, except they want to molest your credit card.

Good luck with that, most of the times they take your money and the leads are not good.  Not this company in particular, all companies I have heard of.

Haven't heard of Buyer Link. As to buying leads, you have to make the determination on whether or not that's cost effective for you. This includes both the quality of the leads, and the time and/or expense you would incur to generate them yourself.

I think it is better to generate your own leads than waste money buying them. I have not found a company with genuine leads that are not send to multiple agents

I would proceed with caution, but remember that it's not just the quality of the lead, it's also the quality of the conversion. I'm all for an outside lead source IF the ROI is there.

Middy Matthews lots of negativity on here re: buying leads. I broke into the luxury market here after moving out of state from online leads. I believe in them 100%. But try googling company first. Put complaint, rip off report, and reviews before the company name. If they are complete scoundrels there will be online evidence.

Middy, the general consensus of AR is to not buy leads, although one or two people do it with Zillow and have great results.  I'm personally skeptical of any company that claims to have leads and charges you for them.  Big sites like Realtor and Zillow get the traffic for leads.  Smaller sites like this one, I'd be shocked if they weren't making up leads.  Ask them "how do you get these leads?"  Judge them by their response and it's detail.  See how easy it is to find them to become a lead.

No way would I use this or any other lead generation service.  Work your sphere and use social media, realtor.com and company/agent website.
