I don't, Michael. Tit for tat is not my style for anything in life. I comment where I have something to say and over time it all evens out. And, of course, I appreciate everyone's comments on my posts and always answer their comments.

No, but there are the trolls out there that love to start a fight. I love the post that asks a heated question - then if you are for or against - bashes you depending on the writers view.
Go kick your cat if you're in a bad mood (I'd call PETA btw.)

No, in fact I'm very random and genuine in my decisions. I answer, read and comment on the subject matter that grabs my attention each morning. I do have my favorites Michael Thornton (shhh), basically because they are consistently intelligent, interesting and, or positive, but I"ll read provocative opinions a lot too. I don't follow folks just because they follow me and I don't check to see if those I follow, are following me.
Also, as George Carlin famously quipped, "what's a tat?"
Jim Rohn said "if you are going to read a book about Gandhi, you have to read a book about Hitler to understand the whole picture" It's not just all Pollyanna. There's a Yin/Yang to AR too.

No, I feel like if I have something of value, or a different perspective to add to the conversation, I do. If I can't add anything, then I lurk.

I don't think of it as tit-for-tat but time is an issue(I imagine for all of us). There are those who I follow on a regular basis where I can find information, fun or an interesting point of view.

I actually try to do a little of both Michael Thornton ....always trying to engage new members ...

No, at least not on purpose. I tend to only have time to look at those that I follow and I follow everyone who follows me.

Good morning Michael. No interest in tit-for-tat, even though I see it all the time.
4,319,773
Michael Thornton never thought of that.
Though as much as I'd like to reciprocate, I do not stop answering a question if it is a good one, just because....

I comment on blogs and questions that interest me. A variety of serious questions, business related or just for fun. I don't pick by the author. There are a variety of authors I enjoy reading.

I cmment on those who comment on mine first, then I go to those who I follow. Somewhere along the line, I run out of time.

For me it isn't a tit for tat. I return comments to those that left a comment on my post. I consider that polite. Although when I have time, I will comment on other posts if the title interests me. It doesn't matter if that person will ever comment on my posts.

No I think that tit for tat is a bad policy that we are taught not to do in elementary school
Best to give our comments or anything else without expecting something in return

First, I take the time to comment on all of those who commented on my blog. Then, if time permits, I will try to find some other blogs to comment on for people that I'm following.

Michael,
I do what I’m interested in not based on what someone else did.

I'm sure that a small majority of my comments are to those that commented or liked my posts recently ... but I try to reach beyond that, Michael Thornton. Some days I do better than others ...

Titting for tatting is one way. I respond wherever I am if I have something
