I invited 90 clients to my annual Gratitude Gathering, I have about 51  people from 40/90 invitations attending , Tuesday before Thanksgiving. They each get a fresh baked pie, as a pop-by gift for their Thanksgiving meal, from a local farm here. The pies are locally famous. 

Plan it and some will come, all will appreciate being invited. You just have to pick a date and plan. You can't call everyone seeking the ideal date.

I do baking of Armenian braided rolls and Paklava for special clients....our parties are always family parties....

I was thinking of this event for my clients, but called a few, and not one date worked for 3 families, let alone how many I closed this year. 

We have many clients to our home for dinner between November and December.  

Patricia - My broker used to do a big neighborhood party for all her past clients, with music, food, games, etc. However, it became very expensive, and she never really saw any return with more business, so she had to stop.

Hi Pat -- I've only had a small "going away" party for a client and it was more of a cocktail and hors d'oeuvres late afternoon event and never a holiday party.   

There are certainly many success stories I've heard over the years.  Let us know how it turns out should you decide to hold one.

I don't. I'm not a party-kind of girl in general. But most people are already over booked socially at holiday time.

No. You can make it special by having it at your home as you did with the MeetUp I attended.

We are hosting an Apprication Happy Hour at a local diner early November. Food, music and visiting.  Happy hour..  our agents are not drinking.. but those drinks will be available for guest. 

We will be going on a cruise over the Christmas holidays.

We have a Gingerbread party for the past clients children.  They make houses and Santa shows up with gifts for the kids and adults.

Making a party special? WOW. Now that's a loaded conversation.. It really depends on your personality. What YOU like to do and not! What turns your creative mind on may just be the same or NOT for someone else.. The sky is the limit.. Tell you much

Most of my clients are second home buyers and not here for the holidays.

Two weeks before Christmas I invite past clients to stop by my office for cookies and coffee.

I won't be hosting a client party. I will have clients hosting parties that will invite, though, and I will attend those. 

No client parties for me an I carefuly pick and choose which vendor parties I want to attend. I can get partied out after 2 or 3.

YES! I have an annual Gingerbread House Decorating Party for my Clients Children.  During busy Holiday Season many Clients will not take out time to do things themselves, but no one misses an opportunite for their kids to have fun.  My Clients support this even in great numbers!

No, I have never hosted one, the service my clients get keep the refferals going and clients happy.

I have never had the opportunity but perhaps in the near future. Heard many throw a block party, movie review party,  neighborhood restaurant gathering or small home gatherings. Santa photo op gathering is a great hit in my neck of the woods.

My clients have such a wide range of age, and interests that I have never felt a party would be a good idea. I tip my hat to those that pull it off well.

Patricia Kennedy I am going to throw one soon - for a special occasion: Diwali, a festival of light, one of the biggest holiday for Indian culture.

And on the second part - I think I should do something MORE to make it special. Thanks for the question that made me think beyond my own answer.

We'll probably host one in our office.  Catered and a little mood music.  Getting together with them makes it special enough for me.
