I stopped using this many years ago as they were the lowest quality leads out of every lead source I had tried.  However, that may be for my industry.

rentals only... Putting listing on craigslist can be dangerous as people make it a faked rental ad.....

John I am glad you asked this quesiton.  I haven't used Craiglist in my marketing plan, but I have been considering it.  I am glad to read the different responses so far.  They will help me in my decision to use or not to use Craiglist in my marketing.  Thank you for askng the question!

I was never a fan of Craig's list but most agents seem to be.... we are listing agents, and that's not where homeowners search for a listing agent....they Google many different keyword phrases....and I use all of them on many platforms....never craig's list...

I dont use Craigs list as there has been too many scams. Real buyers are not looking there first.

nope, don't use it at all anymore.  my data was often scraped and used for fake rental ads. I just got tired of it.

I do use it, but for listings it hasn't brought more than a handful of links to my website.  For my rentals, I find all my tenants there.  Great resource!

No I do not like Craigslist and having my listings hijacked. It takes way too much time and for me doesn't produce quality results. I post on several of my personal websites and they work well.

I have never had any results with Craigslist. So not it's not a part of my marketing plan.

Craigslist isn't really on my radar screen because in this area it has been the site of many real estate scams.  I've stopped using it.

No, it doesn't seem to work well in this area. But for rentals closer to city it sometimes works to generate some interest.

I used craigslist before they disabled the listing links within the ad and I got many leads, now it's dead end street for me.

I used to, but then I had a vacant small condo where a stalker called me, and kept calling and talking profanity.  That was the last time - several years ago.

Yes it is. I use everything I can think of to gain exposure to my listings. Just the fact that it may bring a Buyer is good enough for me. The price to list on Craigs list is right(free) so all I lose is a little time.  I did sell some raw land via a Craigs list ad..

It doesn't fit my marketing plan. I have sold office furniture on it but because of the openness of Craig's List and some violence that has happened with meeting people who you have not vetted, I met them at the office during the day.
