Yes, always. We even did one year in France...and it was really hard (and expensive) to find there.

I'm a vegan, but I cook a turkey if I have guests over, otherwise it is only steaks for my family.

Yes, and we don't do marshmallow yams. We don't put dressing in the turkey, just lots of apples and a lemon. Dressing is on the side. We try to have everything be organic. A

About 7 years ago I switched to Honey Baked Ham.
Why? The scraps turn into the most incredible "Welcome to Winter" soup imaginable. I guess you can say I do the ham for the leftovers. That is not so unique I realize.
Standing rib roast for Christmas.
Hmmm, the poor turkey has lost it's place on my Dunedin Annual Calendar of traditional meals.

Heck no! I'm anything but traditional with my food choices. The family usually goes to a buffet somewhere and turkey is the last thing I eat (if I eat it at all). Tamales, ribs, BBQ, sushi, prime rib... that's thanksgiving to me (and Christmas too). I eat chicken and turkey most of the year, so a thanksgiving turkey is nothing special.

Yes we do prepare the traditional turkey dinner. Everyone brings an item and I usually make pecan pies plus the turkey and dressing. Love my dressing and sides for days!! Can't believe it's almost turkey time. Do you have the traditional dinner?

Yes to the tradtional dinner; the hard part is to cut back the sides to feed two!
This year there will be about eight or ten that have no family so it is all out!
As the shelter will be in the morning til noon it will be a late dinner this year.

Absolutely! It's one of our family's favorite traditions. We love to spend time find great new recipes to mix it up every year, but we still stick with a big bird as the centerpiece.

We do have a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, but we usually have it a day or 2 early.

Yes, we always have a traditional turkey dinner. Sometimes we also have ham. And we always have several pies too. It's the only day of the year, and Christmas, that I eat like this so I enjoy it.

Yes we do and always have lots of leftovers. My husband is the turkey chef, everyone else makes the sides and desserts.

Traditional as in Norman Rockwell? Not quite but there's typically a turkey on the table.
