Tex-Mex Chili is fantastic for a cold day  I will have to look to see if I can find a good recipe.

Almost any soup and a good chili.

I love soup....any type of soup or stew....

Chile does sound good - think I'll put together a big pot today. Of all comfort foods, I'd say my Mom's pot roast is high on the list!

I love hot mulled cider.  I guess cider + cinnamon sticks.  You can even add some nutmeg and/or get some of those packets of mulled spices.

Vegetable soup, anything that has cream and mushrooms or a good chili. It needs to get colder here in Vegas before any of those are made!

I'm a soup girl and I love vegetable soup and corn bread on a cool day.

Just about anything with noodles and cheese!

Any home made soup....staples in our freezer include potato leek, french onion and chicken with wild rice.

A pot of chili is always nice.

It's going to be another 100 degree October day -- I'm not thinking about any Fall comfort foods today --- bring on the cold water and lots of it.  

Chili is always good along with creamy soups.

I used to love a pot of chili on board while sailing offshore in the fall and winter.

It's still 91 degrees here on the Best Coast, but I love Shepherd's Pie! We have a wonderful English Pub here called Shakespeare's that serves a great one with a pint of Guinness.
