Raymond E. Camp I thought the comment on a comment feature was new and nifty - until those seemed to disappear - so I'm now doing a whole new comment to be safe(r).

....Experience Isn't Expensive.... It's Priceless!

It's a mixed bag of tricks - I seem to use both methods.

I do some of both.  If you start a whole new comment, it adds 6 whole points to your total, but if you leave a comment on a comment, it's just a lot easier.  I really like that new feature.

The problem with comments is that they are sometimes difficult to read.  Though, for specific questions I will do these.

I typically reply to their comment.  That way it keeps the flow of the conversation intact.  If others would benefit from the comment, I'll also create a new comment .

Im commenting on their comment.  Faster, easier, and a feature I've wanted for a long time.  Once they sort out the bug that's hiding comments, it'll be perfect.

I reply to the comment, no points but it makes it a lot easier to keep track of the conversation. That is why I love the feature, before the comment on a comment you had to scrool a lot to follow conversation.

When it was introduced, I like the comment-to-comment concept but found that many I have left seemed to disappear(and sometimes re-appear).

I'm finding that time has not been on my side lately.   I acknowledge comments by "liking" them and when I can -- I will comment back to them either individually or in a group as well as visiting their posts.
