I exclusively use Wordpress for all my websites. Clean, sleek designs, very customizable, lots of free plug-ins available. I've been building websites in Wordpress for about 5 years now... I've tried Wix and a few other sitebuilders, but Wordpress is my go-to.
You could use the same template for multiple agents, with minor customizations for each, get the most bang for your buck!

Like any good marketing advice, the answer is "It depends."
There are so many options with so many varying capabilities, and when you adopt one capability you often forfeit another.
In the real estate industry it is even more complicated because besides the generic/ubiquitous options like Wordpress, Wix, Squarespace, etc. you also have all of the real estate-specific options (Market Leader, Boomtown, Real Estate Webmasters, Real Geeks, Placester and the list goes on-and-on).
To cut to the chase, however...I recommend Wordpress in almost every scenario.
Wordpress powers over 23% of the internet so it is stable and reliable and not going anywhere.
Unlike many real-estate specific solutions (especially options offered by franchises as a value-add), with a good theme, Wordpress will always be up-to-date, responsive, and ready for all of the inevitable changes of the internet.
Wordpress is open source, meaning it will integrate with just about anything you throw at it. And if an integration doesn't exist you can bet someone will be making one very soon. This flexibility alone is the most important feature of Wordpress. Want to add pop-ups to increase conversion? You have almost unlimited free and paid options. Want to integrate with an analytics platform? You got it. Want to add social media buttons and interactive widgets? Click. Click. Done.
Since Wordpress integrates so well with everything you will rarely fall behind. Sure it's not always a perfect all-in-one solution, but with a little elbow grease a Wordpress site can hang with the best feature sets any all-in-one can throw at it and better yet, integrate with any new amazing technology sure to come your way that the all-in-ones can't keep up with.
In conclusion...digital marketing will be ever changing. Pick a platform that adapt fast.

I built my own, hosted on a GoDaddy platform running Word Press. I've been happy with it and would recommend it, if you have the skills or desire to do the work.

I use my brokerage-provided personal website, plus WordPress for blogs.

I use Market Leader and am happy enough with it. I wish it had more flexibility than it does but it is clean and gets people to sign up.

Wordpress is my choice. I no longer have time to maintain the site so I hire out the maintenance work. Tammy Emineth is an AR member and she did a great job setting it up for me and advising me on plugins.
