Good morning Adam. Samsung for me, but my wife has an IPhone. This is already my third.
Make it a great week!

I'm a Samsung fan. They are years ahead of Apple as far as features go.
You really need to compare Apple and Android, not Apple and Samsung. Samsung makes a great phone, but there are other good manufacturers out there too (Google and HTC come to mind).
I would ask myself the following questions:
- What is the intended purpose of the device?
- What are your use cases? (mobile MLS, electronic key, email, phone...)
- What products do you currently use and do they have an app available? Go to the app store and look at the reviews.
- What does my technology universe look like?
- What is my price point?
- What features of a phone do I absolutely need to have?
- What does my carrier support?
Number four is the biggest and most important one!!! If you use a mac computer, ipads for docusign and apple email accounts... GO WITH AN IPHONE! Your universe is heavy into Apple already and apple does not play well with others.
Conversely, if you run Windows computers and heavily use the Google app suite (Gmail, Maps, Calendar, Drive, Voice...) an Android phone is the way to go for seamless integration.
If you use a variety of different devices and use exchange (Outlook) for email on your own personal "Adam@StandardMortgage.com" type email address, then you have a decision to make.
For me, I was all set to buy an iPhone and hook it up to my google mail and calendar when the HTC G1 came out... the first Android phone. Since I was invested rather heavily in Gmail and G Calendar, that phone made perfect sense. Get the phone designed to support the technology universe I had, not try to shoehorn Google apps onto an Apple device (which Apple had blocked several years ago). I've been with Android ever since (2007) and never looked back.

iPhone for me and my family - we all have them, can sync with all devices and texting is free even from outside of the country. I use it as my electronic key for lockboxes and other business Apps.

Adam,
It is all about your preferences and values, neither is right and neither is wrong, it is what works for you. A

iPhone. I've had them since the beginning and I have an iphone 6+. Lets face it, the phone needs to 1. Make and receive a phone call and preferably connect to your car or bluetooth device to avoid a ticket. 2. Send and receive text messages. 3. Have an application to access the MLS, 4. Unlock the lockboxes, 5. Provide an application to access email, 6. Ideally be able to support your preferred CRM solution if you have one. Oh did I say you also need to have a phone to make a phone call???
Every phone out there will/should do all of these regardless of platform. I have a Apple ecosystem so everything is Apple. Its easy, it always works and the benefit is the high value resale that I always do when I upgrade my phone.

iPhone. The reason is that my wife has an iphone, my kids have iPads, etc. Keeps things nice and neat in terms of accounts, software installation, sharing apps, etc.

Adam - I just started using the Apple iPhone this year. Prior to that, I didn't have a smart phone, so I can't really compare to the Samsung.

I love my iPhone. Like all of the Apple products I've used, it's been totally reliable.
