Being someone who records just about everything which allows me to fast forward thru the commercials, I don't think it is something I'll ever participate in. (The Super Bowl Ads are the exception but out of my budget )

Yes. The program provided multiple 15 second spots on local network TV but was part of a real estate agent round table that allowed consumers to call in.
This just happened to be at the same time as the crash. 99% of the calls were "How can I save my son's house from foreclosure?"
There was incredible response from the public.
The program was discontinued when the station came to realize how 'high maintanence' real estate agents are.
I would do it again under the same format.

The only TV ad I've had was provided by my current company for about 6 months when I joined the company. It was on the local real estate network and a steady feed of a flyer. It didn't bring any business directly but name recognition is always beneficial. I wouldn't have paid for it though.

Yes I did one about a year ago. I was asked to be on it with a lender as part of a Q&A segment on real estate and mortgages. It was on cable TV, not a national network. It didn't cost me anything, I had a good time doing it, had live call ins and I posted the segment on my website.

I don't even watch TV.
Well I did see part of the Bronco game tonight. I usually invite myself over to a friend's house for certain football games. They expect it and I bring food and beer.

Many years ago, there was a cable channel where you could inexpensively advertise Sunday Open Houses. I think we had to hand deliver our photos. That's my only foray into TV ads.

No I have not. Have thought about radio once or twice and the amount of time needed to make people aware just seemed too much to justify. Can not imagine TV. Mark

Yes, we have done some TV ads, but wasn't up to what we thought it would be.

For this business, no (although we did some radio spots that didn't do anything). Years ago, when I worked for P&G, yes, many times - for big businesses.

Many years ago I wasted some money on this, a few calls and zero clients

YES! Back in the day my ads ran 24/7 on the cable acess channel and it was awesome. I do not think it would have any impact today or very little. When I was on it was pre social media days.

My broker did a public access TV interview once. That is the extent. Society is moving away from TV (cord cutting) and skipping ads. Every show I watch (except for football) is on Netflix, Amazon Prime or bought through iTunes. I haven't seen a commercial since the Superbowl. When I do watch something recorded from the cable with my parents at their house, we fast forward through any commercial NOT staring Peyton Manning (except Papa John's commercials, their pizza makes me sick just looking at it).
