It depends on the topic, how well it's been written, and how easy it is to read. Some long posts are one long paragraph and those are really hard to concentrate on.

I'm not a fan of reading long blogs. I'll start, and if it isn't keeping my interest, I just stop, and i never comment on it because I haven't read it.

Good morning Frank. Not very often, I limit the amount of time I do social media, just not willing to extend it.

I will read entire blog posts, regardless of length, if it is an interesting post or contains important information.

Frank - I look for the title and/or topic to determine whether I would be interested in reading. However, if it is all text and no photos, I do sometimes tend to rush through the long posts. If I take the time and effort to read, I will usually comment.

If it is good material I do Frank. If boring, on to the next. I try to be fair though.

If it's interesting I read it all. Sometimes I comment, sometimes not (sometimes it's just informational).

I will read the whole thing (if it interests me), but it can be a slog.  I wouldn't make a post longer just for SEO.

Define "long" ??   I haven't a problem reading a blog provided the topic is interesting.  Market reports?  Not so much

Frank- if it's a wall of words with no breaks, I doubt I'll read it.  Just might depending upon the content.  When I write, I'm not counting words for SEO and I've had some that have gotten lengthy but not very often.

As with the concensus; if it is interesting all the way through. It helps that I speed read so it is not a problem.

Also a post from Lenn Harley you should always leave a comment when going to a post!

A long blog needs to be very informative and or very interesting.  My time is worth to much to read a long blog that really says nothing.
