Dirt roads are very common in my area. I lived on them for over 20 years. At two different locations. Now I've moved again and I have paved roads around me.

Captain Wayne,

I would have to drive a good hour from here to even find one!

I do not live on a dirt road, however, there is 1 small dirt road in my town. It is in such poor condition, it is like driving with moguls.

No, Captain Wayne, but I have friends that do...it sure kicks up alot of dust, but then again, sometimes you have to drive down those aweful roads to get to some beautiful Country! There's a pay-out...somewhat.

We have neighbors that do. Lots of agricultural land here on Kauai and plenty of dirt or dirt and gravel roads.

Captain Wayne - Rowlett Real Estate School - Since you didn't put any qualifiers on your question, yes. My wife and I have a beach house that is on a dirt road. The entire community of several hundred homes is off a regional paved highway in Algarrobo, CHILE. It gets dusty, but we love it because it brings tranquility - people have to drive slower and non-residents avoid it.

Thank goodness, no.  I drive on some of them somethings and they drive me crazy.  And, they are terrible in snow/ice.
