Perhaps today or next week the dow will be right back up. The concerns were not in the US but external so it is a short term dive only to come back. The real problems for real estate will start when they raise interest rates.

The DOW is industrials, there are many other ways of running this economy.  When the DOW goes down the bonds go up.

no , they are not really tied as tight as you might think. and housing is stable. thou some markets are always more sensitive. some less. new housing starts are recently up, but overall still behind
