I do, and unsubscribe or send an email back asking to be removed. If they continue, I will call and ask to be removed. If I have a buyer, the home will show up in my specific searches.

The do it all the time and there is nothing about it that I like. I know how to use mls to search for things I have an interest in.

Tammy - OMG, definitely! I probably get at least 50 emails a day from other listing agents and their new listings. I haven't done anything about it, other than delete them, but I probably should just unsubscribe.

Yes, and that's even after the MLS sent out a "cease and desist" email to everyone that THAT was not what the MLS membership roster was for. I keep unsubscribing and unsubscribing.

Not all of them, just four or five of them, fortunately! I unsubscribe to them. When I need info on houses I will do a search on the MLS.

Yes they do. It has become a huge problem and I hear agents complain that they wish it would stop.

Agents in our area spam email their new listings all the time. It is inexpensive and quite simple to do, but does little to actually sell their listing.

Formerly but for some reason 99% of that has stopped. I think so many agents did the opt-out that the spam company that is used was forced to delete a number of them.

Yes, I am a great believe still in permission based marketing, so I unsubscribe to any agent sending me listings, brokers opens, or open houses.

I receive emails but I don't necessarily consider it SPAM. I can opt out if I choose.

Tammy Lankford I don't get residential info at all. However, I do welcome commercial listings, etc. because these aren't often listed in the MLS.

Yes, and I also get such spam from the US and even other continents. In almost all cases, I have no idea who the agent is.
In such cases, I unsubscribe if it looks safe to automatically unsubscribe. I do not send emails to the agents. If it is not easy to unsubscribe, I mark the email as spam to my email provider.
I tend to be aggressive at keeping my inbox clean of spam.

Yes, and I usually either delete, unsubscribe or set up spam filter rules so I don't have to see another one from them. I'm convinced most agents do this because they've told the seller it's one of the ways they market their property, not because it makes any actual difference in whether it sells or not. If it's on the MLS, I can find it just fine, thank you very much. Now, if they want to advertise a broker's open this way, that's fine but 99% of the ones I receive are listings.

yes everyday which I do not mind unless the same listing gets sent more than once.

The first thing to do is to respond with an unsubscribe request.
Just send those unwanted emails to your spam folder if they do not unsubscribe you as you have requested.
