Same answer as Michael Jacobs - it depends upon time primarily. I try to participate when I can to support the member who is hosting it.

I do participate in most. Time is always an issue.

I do participate in AR contests, but I'm picky. I don't partcipate in ALL of them. I don't like the ones with all the extra rules, for example post on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I'm not on Instagram and I don't want to be.

I have but we're into passive real estate now so most of these are geared to marketing ideas.

It depends upon the timing of the contest, whether I have any time availability and whether it is an interesting contest.

Of course I do. They are a lot of fun and you meet other members as well as being involved in AR.

I usually do. They're fun, you get to know new people in the AR community. And the points are nice, too : )

I participate in some and pass on others. Much depends upon the topic and the requirements.

No. I do not participate in AR contests. Why?
#1. I rarely hear about them.
#2. I do not look for them
#3. When I did the titles were to 'ho-hum' such as 'Staying ahead of the Crowd with Marketing' that no interest whatsoever existed to click.
#4. Others perticipating in past contests engaged in activity on the Q & A that devalued the product by asking meaningless, off topic, 'What's your favorite Ice Cream?" types of questions.
I would suggest a meaningful contest to develop forward thinking markeing skills would exhibit a much better title modeling the skillset.
