The kind of neighborhood that is desired is a matter of personal preference. I would not want to see them in my home neighborhood.

We don't have very many of these in the non agricultural areas of Martin County. They are now working on zoning provisions to allow a limited number. Though, I don't think most urban dwellers are particularly fond of having chickens for neighbors.
