Forgive? Always. Forget? Not often. There are too many lessons to be learned from others errors or mistreatments - I remember them to avoid bad situations in the future

Forgive and forget - if something bothers me, it lasts about 5 minutes and then I am on to something else. Its like breakfast - I cant even remember what I had. If I let everything bother me, I would have had a stroke by now :)

I was just thinking about those ''second, third'' chances. I think, if someone betrayed or lied to you, took advantage of your trust, etc., they will do it again. People do not change. I do remember and try not to get 'deja vu'' with that person.
Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me!

depends on the transgression. I try to be a forgive and forget, but sometimes it just won't go.

I generally forgive, but it is on the back of my mind

Forgive and forget. Not doing so only hurts and inhibits me. The other person cannot feel that.

Mostly forgive and forget, but I don't allow people to disrespect me. Also, see my answer in your Two Part Question.

Depends on what I need to forgive.
I just had an AR agent try to cheat me out of a $19, 208 referral fee.
Forgive? Not a chance.
Forget? Not a chance.

Richie Alan Naggar Real Estate Broker I'm a forgive and forget person. Those who forgive but won't forget will always remember the situation. There are far more benefits to forgive and forget.

Depends what side of the fence I am on. I am kind if like an elephant with Alzheimer's . Every day is new day .

Depends upon the situation. I can totally forgive, but certain types of errors will be kept in back burner, so that future encounters with same agent I am aware of the way they handled past deals. If someone was chronic liar, for example, I can forgive the lie, but I would question any further info from them.
