It is really just a matter of not having others dictate your work schedule. Like Barbara Todaro said "burn out" is a term we just don't understand.

oh, how I hate that term....burn out does not exist....if someone is tired, take a day off.... I've never experienced anything that would resemble whatever burnout might be....I'm not sure what it is!!!! if you don't like the business, do something else.... if your business is dead, energize it.... if you have more than you can handle, take on another agent and form a small team....did I cover it all????

I have to agree with John McCormack on this one. Dollar Signs to retire compfortable someday helps...and I keep to a healthy schedule, a regular sleep and wake up schedule, I have my faith in God most importantly, healthy diet, and thankful for everything I have in my life so far.

Saturday is date/fun day/night. No business at all unless its an emergency, Sunday it's 50/50 work/other stuff. That helps me go 5:30am-9pm Mon-Fri. The pay checks are also good motivation.

I teamed up with another agent for this very reason...we both need the flexibility to travel throughout the year, although year we've been both a little too busy to do as much as we each would like. Getting ready to rectify that shortly and head on vacation.

I schedule time with my Geno and family just like appointments with clients. My personal life is as important to me as my business and I can have both! Planning trips and taking time off is the key for me..no phones, no answering questions..I have my business covered and really relax and rejuvenate.....works every time for me.....when I return I'm ready to go 24/7 again.
