James Dray I just went over to your blog and read your post. Good information and something I didn't know.

I don't allow outside comments but I can tell I'm being read by my clicks.  Most listings and local posts make my phone ring but the comments would be few and far between.  Having "conversations" with other members is nice but it doesn't bring home the bacon!

Yes, when I was brand new, I posted some market reports that din't receive comments.

Yes, but the ones without we're mostly Just Listed/Just Sold. When I was active I try to comment on the ones with none, and try to steer clear of trending blogs.

Yes. I have posted many blogs that received no comments.

Comments are not a good meaure of the effectiveness of a blog. Contacts from prospective clients are what counts.

James Dray happens with my market report posts which has more than 200 views - and I am okay with that.

Yes I have but then later the comments may come in. I do not worry about it and move on to the next post.

It has happened over the years.   A large number of posts are geared towards consumers not AR members and are hyperlocal in nature.
