Fortunately, I've never been in this position, Michael. Three inspections scheduled this week, so now I'm getting nervous! Then again, I virtually never attend inspections but even when I'm there I haven't heard this or any other tune.

Some home inspectors have a talent for killing deals.
I like the home inspectors that use the opportunity to educate buyers on realistic expectations.

there's usually nothing that can't be fixed and if defection is too great in the floor, that's probably an easy fix... home inspectors should do NOTHING except inspect and report what they find.... if asked what the remedy is, their opinion should be shared and then professionals in the field should give bids....again, there's nothing that can't be fixed...the question is would it be worth it and it usually is if negotiated properly..... I hate to see a deal die!!!

I have not heard that tune but I do get concerned if the inspector does not say anything but just hums to himself.

Now that is funny. That can be a good thing or a bad thing...always good to ask the Inspector what that really might mean to him.

That would be so funny, I don't think I would have that feeling, with inspections it is what it is. We just take it, anyone in the business for awhile knows what the possible outcomes are.

That's funny, Michael Thornton!
I usually get the inspector started with my buyer, then back out to the car and do work until they're done. I don't hang with them during the inspection.

Michael Thornton Sounds like a happy inspector who enjoy his/her job to me.

I'd be more worried if I heard "You're Beautiful" throughout the inspection. It's true!
