I don't.  I take a break till it comes to me.

Aparently I have a very busy mind.  I never run out of members only ideas and the public ones are always the same, a different development in my area, daily.  The Public ones are redone on a yearly basis.

I try to think back on my adventures of the week, showings, listings or interactions with clients or other agents.

I will often go to Q&A places to see what q's people have  - quora, yahoo answers, flooring forums, answers.com.  I sometimes to to other similiar flooring sites to see the FAQ section and/or blog post topics.

And, of course, I try to listen to my customer's questions.

Jean Marie and Wayne --- so many places to find "inspiration" -- best place --- right here on ActiveRain -- read others' posts, comments, questions, answers ---- then step outside and see what's happening.  Drive a different direction.

Who is the intended audience for your blog?

If it is citizen focused, go to Trulia, Facebook, Twit or the darkside and find read what's on the mind of your neighbors.

If it is affiliate focused, AR Q & A could help, At this time it is stuffed with too much nonsense (Coke? Pepsi?) to bring any value.

There are things all business people share in common. Solutions are always welcome.

Or, return to those note pads you stashed upon which you recorded bullet points from all the seminars you have attended. 

Or, share a piece about yourself that brings fabric and/or relevance and/or purpose to your life.  There is no sin in writing for yourself.

I do plenty of market reports. In between doing those...other ideas for posts come to me. I also think back on past experiences with clients and the questions they ask.

I write something motivatinal then, we can always use some of that kind of thinking.

I usually go and ride my horse Dakota.  I turn my brain off for a while.  This will usually spark an idea.  

Wayne and Jean Marie Zuhl - read some posts  or Q&A section on ActiveRain - and believe me, you'll come up with some new ideas in response to those posts or questions!

And you can always blog about listing and market reports - they are dynamic and always have something new to share with the world!

If you run out of blogging ideas, take a photowalk in your community. Every photograph gives you a blog topic.

Go back through old posts, read the blog roll, and have a list from other bloggers with ideas.
