Good morning Scott. Pretty funny actually. Most of us would probably understand, but how about the public?

Interesting, I've never seen that.  I see 2.5 a lot, but I wouldn't assume it was a half bath if I did.

I have never seen "2.1" bathrooms.  We use 2.5 bathrooms in my MLS.

I haven't seen 2.1 baths before, but it would've baffled me.

Our MLS changed how the bathroom fields are input and I've seen plenty of two bedroom, seven bathroom condos listed.  Of course, there aren't any two bedroom, seven bath condos.

Our MLS also has a bizarre "quarter bath" option.  I called to ask what the heck a quarter bath was.  Apparently, it's an additional random sink somewhere.  Weird.

I think it originally was meant to mean 2 full and 1 half but instead of 2/1 it became 2.1

LOL! I have never seen a .1, that's just funny!  I wouldn't have gotten it.

Oh yes, I never understood that and wondered if it was typo.  I get 2.5, but what the heck is 2.1?  Sink only?  Looks dumb.

The best I have seen is 2 br 2 ba 10hb.

I have seen that too and think it is an incorrect number though I have been able over the years to translate what the real meaning is. I wonder what the public thinks?

in my area, we refer to that as 2.5 baths....

I think it has become one of those industry standards.  Good question.
