No. I really don't like to see re=blogs and it's rare I read them.

I suppose because I hear they help the original writers SEO but I don't get it.

No. I think it's actually the right amount, now. Since they limited to 25 pts/day (rather than 10 per week), there is less of it and less spamming where some people would do 5-10 in a row. I think it's a good balance now.

Roy Kelley - I think so.
I do re-blog good posts that I come across and many times, the comments on those posts say, 'Thank you for re-blogging, I missed it earlier!' (and not from those serial commenters.....lol!)
Some people believe it's all about points - it may be true partially, however more important is spreading the message in the post.
One cannot read all the posts everyday - hence a re-blog may be a better idea to promote the message.

I guess the questions would be "who would benefit from this?" I don't reblog very frequently, but when there's a message someone has put forth that I think has value, I do. I wouldn't dilute the value of a good reblog.

I only reblog when I find a great post to share. Create your own content is always better.

I'm not much of a re-blogger except on rare ocassions. I know you and some others I follow are.
Do you think some members are unaware of the existence of re-blogs or is there some other reluctance to part

I like the re-blogs, because some one I'm following may post a good one from someone I'm not. But, I think people should be inspired to re-blog based on it's merits, not outside encouragement.

No.
We should encourge those who have a idea to create their own post.

Roy Kelley I don't see much utility in doing this. I think I've only reblogged a couple of posts that I thought were really good.

Hi Roy, I'm not sure how you can encourage that but, it sounds good to me.

As each of us has our own followers that may not match up and the content would possibly be useful yes we should reblog so everyone has the opportunity of utilizing the information.
