Half empty folks don't last long in this business. It is in our best interest to be eternal optimists! It seems folks have avoided answering your question (probably for fear of offending someone in this politically correct, incorrect world.)  But just by reading the answers, it is clear to see their views. And they are overwhelmingly half full. HA! :)

This type of business can only be successful for half full people.

Lise - Sometimes I am half full, and other times I am half empty. It may depend on my mood, or what it is I am contemplating.

To me it doesn't matter...it is refillable!  lol!

Good question . I see the world as more good vs evil and I strive each day to have a full day but there are negative things that on occasion distract or pull me down but I get right back up again.?

Half full however I want to keep adding to the container it makes life fun.

 Good morning Lise. I strive to keep my glass at least half-full if not more. Negative people do not last long.

I am always striving to be a "glass is full" type of person.

A positive view of the world helps business - and everything else in life. I don't know about you, but I try to steer clear of the doom and gloom mongers. 

I am a half full person.  I am always upbeat & happy.  Even when something is going totally wrong I will push through it with a smile.

I am neither, I am refillable. So I guess that makes me always full to do what ever it takes in a postive light.

Positive thinking breeds success. Therefore to always look at the positive, breeds more postive results and vice versa.  Being negative will hurt your business in the end.

I am an overflowing sort of person.

However, if I pay too much attention to things beyond my control, "THE WORLD" my life energy would be depleted and I would be of little use to anyone.

Without doubt, there is ALWAYS an opposing view to anything someone may state, even as basic as is 'BAD' bad?

I have found you can share world views but only if you FIRST establish clearly what is agreed on by those in the conversation.

Such as, all people's in every place have the same hope:

1. Prosperiety for their children
2. Good health
3. Peace

From the place of agreement you can share what burdens your heart. Share your view only after the 3rd squeeze.

I have so much for which to be thankful that I do not even notice my bottle is less than full.  I prefer to notice the one providing the bottle, and seldom do I allow a negative person to set the focus of my day.

I wish I could block out the nonsense in Washington DC, not because it makes me negative, but because it makes me feel like I am at a picnic and the ants are into everything.  Well, I will concentrate on the beautiful sunset.

I always try to be a half full positive type of person. Sometimes before I leave to go on an appointment or go to an event, I visualize how I want that event to go.
I see some of my friends have everything go wrong for them on a continual basis. Just small things that end up messing up their day. I don't want that to happen to me and I have found it really works to set up my energy before I head out. Even for driving and having a peaceful drive. Sometimes it seems like the road is being cleared of cars, just for me. So my glass is always half full! Expect things to go well & they will!

I try to be realistic.  Sometime "Positive" people simply have thier head in the sand.  But I always like to look for the best possible solution.  More than once I have worked around big problems to make things work. 

Every single thing that happens to us in life is an opportunity to grow and to learn.  ALWAYS half full.  You just have to be to have any success in this business. 

Half full, but being that half full guy, I think there is plenty of room for the half empty person, they have feelings to :)  But really, there are enough half empty buyers out there that they would get along great with a person that thinks the same as they do! 

I am optimistic by nature. I think that makes me a “half-full” person. I think it helps to keep the stress level down.

Your attitude determines your altitude, so always being optimistic is my DNA. I'm always striving to fill the half full glass, however, on my terms and conditions.

I think I'm a three quarters full person!

I'm definitely a half full person.  In the face of adversity, I always look for the positive. But it also helps I was born resiliant.  Of the 4 personality types, this one is the best for half full mentalities!

I believe those who sees it half empty...hurts their business. On the other hand, those who always see things half full, have a very successful business. It is a matter of how we see things and what we want to achieve. I will be honest, many times I am seeing things half empty and not appreciating what I have accomplished.

Always at least half full. In fact, I am a firm believer, if there is a challenge, the only way to succeed is to know that you can certainly be the one to find the way.

I want my other half back.  Who took my other half? 

I always look at the positive side.  It's so easy to be negative, and so many people are.  Sure there are times when I've had a bad day, but overall i am a positive person

I guess I'm marketing (pic above) - will the glass sell better as 1/2 full or 1/2 empty? Let's google it to check. I'm a positive problem solver.

My background is assessing risk, mostly credit and legal, so I am trained to look at the worst case scenarios. That would make me half empty, I guess, on the surface, but might lead to a full cup of results without spillage.
