Most feedback from agents is useless in my opinion ---- if someone is interested in the property, they will call and a conversation starts.   Will my asking for feedback generate an offer?

I never respond to 'auto-responder' feed back requests. NEVER!

The seller and/or agent seeking REAL feedback, actionable feedback, meaningful feedback, should know better that rely on such a method. At the very least, they should call me.

I believe the home owner expects more from their agent than a reliance on an auto-responder.

The homeowner who hired them should fire them.

The right feedback the seller wants comes from OBSERVING the buyer.

Did they sit on the sofa in the family room or the swing on the back porch? Did they raise their eyebrows when the saw the carpet in bedroom three? Could you see them mentally fitting their furniture in the house?
Did they whisper to each other about decor?

NONE of this critical information will ever be conveyed in a automated request for feedback and are indeed the most revealing of all activities suggesting if the seller should be more pro-active regarding this buyer.

But I admit, it is easier to pretend to provide feedback. So, to spare the listing agent and the buyer from such pretense, I NEVER respond to automated requests for feedback.

I do both. Most agents in my area ignore the email requests. My assisant now calls for feedback every week unless I know the agent really well and I will call or text myself.

No, many of them ask lame generic questions. I don't call and email asking for feedback either. if the buyer has a serious interest, I expect we'll be hearing from their agent. i will send a " Thank you for showing" email, and leave it up to them whetehr or not they want to reply with feedback.

I don't believe in feedback.  I don't give it and I don't request it.  People will very rarely if ever give you the truth so why bother.
