10% of my leads come from a combination of Yelp.com and ActiveRain.com. Outside of that, I can share that social media is more about branding for me than leads. I've only received one deal from Facebook that closed, but again, I use social media to shore up my online presence, it's the "seasoning not the steak" in my marketing plan.

with enough consistent marketing, you won't know where your call originated....the caller won't know either....they'll usually say they see you everywhere....

Very low percent (less than 5%).  However, it is a bit challenging to parse out.  I use social media for top of mind awareness w/ people I already know/meet, so LI/FB may help some of those realtors and past customers reach out to me.  Several have mentioned this, but I classify them as referrals from realtors or repeat customers.

The most is coming from the FB moms groups where people spontaneously recommend me.  I have no control, but thankful that they do.

Building your website is much larger opportunity.  Generally has lead to 30-35% of my biz.

Good morning Michael. In 2014 it was one in six of my actual mortgages, that I traced to a result of my blogging.

As usual, when it comes to social media Debbie Gartner makes a great point. The leads may not be a direct A-B link from social sites to lead capture sites. They may be more intuitive.

Leads may see your posts on a few friend pages and think they may need a real estate agent. They will then Google your name and click on your website and research you. 3 weeks later they will submit a question without a phone number and then 5 weeks after they will call you about a real estate need.

Social media is a big picture and long term play for real estate.

Great question!
