Debbie Reynolds I worked all day starting at 10AM with an inspection and umpteen showings all day. No day off for me. Monday is the same. I am not complaining, I am glad to have the work.

@Debbie Sure, if you aren't happy with what you are doing maybe it is time to look for something else.

I am so psyched! I had two closings last week, and two this week (the first of the year!) that I have to finess through this week.

Normally I work from home on Monday morning and ease into the week (and the office) after lunch. It's much easier to get all of the planning and organization done without distraction.

Mondays are always nuts. Don't you love it when someone tells you (as a realtor) to have a nice weekend? I always think, yeah I'm showing houses just like Tues, Thurs & every other day.

When it's getting calls from FABULOUS Brokers like YOU all are on AR -- YES, absolutely I look forward to Mondays!!!!
Staging works! It's SO thrilling to me when a plan comes together for staging a listing and Mondays are just one of those days this can happen!
GO BROKERS!!!! . . .Go Homeowners!! . . .Go Builders! . . . Go Mondays!!!!! Thanks for ALL that you do. Thanks for the value you place in ASP home stagers!

Generally I am. I actually get kind of edgy on the weekends if I am not busy. I like my job and the rhythm it brings to my life. Monday I am catching up with all the e-mails and such that were not ugent. I enjoy setting at the computer with my coffee and such. If I have appointment all the better, because that is money.

Since I put in a 12 hour day on Saturday, not sure how Monday is different... same old, same old. Some days I look forward and some days I don't.

Not usually but last night i sure was. It was a hectic week of closings being teh end of the month and 2 banks i work for unloaded on the BPOS and REO listings. I took them all and finished 27 in 3 days, already 2 new listings which mad eit worthwhile. This Monday morning i am enjoying the feeling of knowing i am done that chore and ready for this week. For now, some AR time

I usually can't wait for Monday mornings! I love it. I realized I'm self-employed. If I didnt love looking forward to Mondays, I could always do something else.

Of course. This coming Monday I will be observing a "door knocking" agent!

I like to get everything done and out of the way on Sunday (cleaning, laundry) so that i have none of that to do and focus entirely on my clients. Working from home is great and I love to get started on Mondays with a clean slate and nothing else on the brain!
1,574,666
Yep. If I ever get to where I dread going to work then I need a new job...or to win the lottery! Admittedly there are occasional issues a don't look forward to addressing but I do it like everyone else here!

I always look forward to Mondays as it is usually slower than the weekends.

There are no "days of the week" for me in the typical sense. I take days off here and there. But I do look forward to mornings 7am-9am when very few emails and calls come in and I am able to get a lot done.

Sunday is a day to recharge my batteries and enjoy my family, so the furthest thing from my mind on Sunday evenings is thinking about Monday.

I look forward to Mondays, but for a different reason. I usually work Saturdays and Sunday afternoons. So when Monday rolls around, I try to schedule a little down time - usually half a day - when I can do nothing. It doesn't always work out, because of the nature of our business, but when it does, I love my Monday mornings.
1,311,397
You are assuming that I took the weekend off...which did not. Monday is the start of the work week for many but it is just another work day for me.

Rarely work Sundays... Sunday eve I love watching the old Columbo re-runs.:) Some Sun eves I look forward to Monday morning, some I dread... That's the honest answer... It all depends on the type of deals I'm involved with that week. Working with good ethical agents on deals makes this career a joy and working with the unethical, greedy agents who actually thing every negotiation should go their way makes this career a friggin nightmare...

I am always looking forward to going to work...no matter the day. I grab half days off when I can...but unless there's a large amount of turmoil going on in a transaction...they are all good days!

You made me start thinking about the Go Go's song, "Just another manic Monday!" Phone is ringing, offer is coming in, life is good!

Monday is almost like a day off for me. And yes, I look forward to it even when I need to work. I love this job.

I took Saturday off, and watched the Kentucky Derby, and Golf with friends. I networked Sunday with 12 women and got 2 leads. I'm following up with emails and other stuff today.

A Monday is just words on a calendar. Each day should be special for you no matter what it's called. Enjoy it, all parties do come to an end.

Debbie, there is no weekend mindset for me now that I am in real estate. If I were still in teaching I probably would have been fretting as I still had two or three set of classroom assignments or tests to still grade before Monday morning. Life is good!
