Charlene,
You are just starting to see the real challenges that will land on our doorstep...and largely created by real estate agents and REALTORS. I even read this morning someone wants to host open house for fsbos. That is a clue regarding the direction that you are detecting. You owe it to yourself to read my blog regarding the sharing economy. This all begin on SM such as FB and 43 percent of USA citizens participate and growth is explosive.
Now, the dark side enables a fsbo to use YOUR images and YOUR description that you WILLINGLY FORFEITED ALL RIGHTS when you choose to syndicate and simply change the status and they are ready to sell. ,
What can you do? Offer something no one else can.
Here is what WILL happen. Agents will continue to do what they have always done and nothing will change except....their business has disappeared.
Now, do your homework, then show the courage you are going to need.
Did we cut off our noses here? You bet we did because we truly wanted to believe a lie offered by an organization based on deceit and deception, and thought it all true. The courage to resist could not be found.
Why do they need us? It's a new economy. If you have the courage to be NEW, not REALTOR thinking, and all their nonsense, you have hope to make the conversion and stop consuming the REALTOR silliness.
What makes the sharing economy work? Now, present your 'only you' solution that will mesh with this economy and leave behind the relics of Christmas Past.
So, why have I not revealed a solution here? I think you can figure that out.

I make them a "team player" and give them guidance, after I've been in the home and had a face to face with them....we always get the listing....I've written posts about for sale by owners....

Unfortunately in our market the FSBOs are quite successful, because buyers like to deal directly with the sellers, and count out Realtors®

I'd agree with them (always agree and keep them off their defenses) and then remind them that it is easy to expose a house on social media, however that is a drop in the bucket to what we Realtors do to market, filter, negotiate, problem solve, navigate escrow and keep deals in tact to close.
If social media was selling homes, why would we spend do much for the MLS? If social media was selling homes, why would inept, yet popular FREE sites like Zillow.com and Redfin.com, etc. pull all their data from the MLS?
Are FSBO's capable of verifying pre-approved buyers, or are they letting unqualified looky-loos in (or worse criminals that just want to case the place)? Can they properly provide all the paperwork & disclosures that keep them out of court? Can they non-emotionally problem solve the variety of problems that doi (not might) but do occur in an escrow with multiple personalities & levels of professionalism involved. Can they not be taken advantage of?
I'd ask if they realize that Realtors earn 14-20% more for their sellers than FSBO's do? (source NAR). I just casually breeze through the 185 point check list I have to show them every detail of what I do standard. I also would show them a completed file of a COE. In CA, my closed files are 500 pages+ thick...I show them that they'd better have the same when done or be concerned something was overlooked.
I can watch a Youtube.com video on how to change the brakes on my car to save money. But would I want to drive that car afterwards, if this was my first time doing so? Especially when I see leftover parts?

I'd focus on providing the service and let other people rave about the quality of it. Some people do think that selling a house is easy, but it can be absolutely overwhelming if you have no idea how property prepare house for sale, market it, keep it available for showings and who to show ( can not let in every stranger in , right?), and especially correct paperwork and transaction order.

Ask your home seller clients to promote their home on social media. Have them join you in the marketing efforts.
If you can not fully explain the benefits of using an agent, you have some homework to do.
