I go to lunch with past clients and we talk business. I also ask them to dinner. It is all about establishing the relationships and establishing trust.

If real estate is a passion it works well. If it is a chore, it is just a job often not getting compensated.

It's all work these days.  Good thing my bride and I work together!

Schedule your personal and family activities in the same way that your schedule your business appointments. Those activities become appointments that you keep.

This business allows us to become friends with prospective clients and clients and hopefully stay friends with them after we close a deal together. To be a Realtor(r) ... you kind of have to be a socialite so it's easy to cross business with pleasure ... entertain, go to dinner, etc ...

Now I can do that best for sure.

I'd say business is winning out completely right now as busy as our market is right now.
