The short the better. It seems that is the consensus in the group here. Wishing you a great weekend. A

Stephanie - I would have to say the shorter the better as well. Just as long as you give them your name, who you work with, and to leave a message.

I'm not sure how long, but keep it short, sweet & to the point. It is a little annoying to hear about the persons office number, email, assistant number etc. Brief is the best.

I just recently shortened mine and took out my company name. Now all I say is my name, that I am a Realtor in Clarksville and leave your name and phone number. I think it is 15-20 seconds. Short and to the point.

Would recommend the shorter the better and end with "Make it a great day".
Make it a great weekend!

15 seconds or less. No one wants to hear you ramble about how you're busy, you're sorry you're busy, etc etc.

Stephanie, I would think one could get all the essential information in about a 15-20 second message.

Stephanie Leon | Miami Lakes Realtor® I would say to keep it as short as possible keeping it only to basic information.

For me, 15 seconds is to long. I don't need to listen to an advertisement. Hopefully I already know who I called. A short polite message is the best for me. One has to listen to the entire message in Oder to leave one of your own. Sometimes it saves time just to hang up and call back later, better to be on the missed call list.

It should be short . We have to include our name and office name and also it should give them a number to contact if they need immediate assistance which is the main number for the office during business hours.
