bench ads are covered when someone sits on the bench.... that's a waste...it's an ego trip...

Jen - I have known an agent or two that has tried this in the past, along with ads on shopping carts, or the stick that goes between orders at the grocery store.  None of them have ever renewed the opportunity; it may seem like a great place to advertise according to the (paid) sales person offering it, but doesn't seem to connect with buyers.  Kind of like the idea of putting min-real estate offices in the grocery store for the repetitive exposure... not sure if anyone is still doing it, but I never heard of any real success with it.

Best of luck whatever you decide...

In our area few take public transportation.

Popular one is giant poster by highway... Wonder how much it costs a year.

It depends on the marketplace, personally, I would not want someone leaning on our picture...personal preference!  A

Bench ads can work if you use them creatively.  And, they can be a great place to sit!

I don't think they have much value especially when someone is sitting on them.

Good morning Jen. A couple of my Realtor referral partners do them and are always complaining, that it wasn't worth the expense.

Make it a great weekend!

I don't think that the people selling these ads are trying to help our business. I have done radio ads and shopping carts- wish I had the money back from all of those. I don't think one to many marketing is particularly effective when there are thousands of realtors out there-

Hi Jen -- probably depends on the market.  I've never used them.

Jen N - never done and will not do it, either. At least that's not so popular in our area.

I never like ads that don't target, but in a way I guess bench ads do target, just not what I want.

I've done them but have never had much success from them. So, I would say they are a relatively low rate of return in my area.

What is the cost of a bench ad?  Anybody do it recenlty?  What was the cost?  How long did the ad run?

Doubtful. Reminds me of the shopping cart ads. Every agent that I know who paid for the shopping cart ads said they wished they hadn't wasted their money.
